Wow. What a horrible day. I'm really thinking about moving. The parking/traffic in Fort Wayne is out of control!
First, the drive thru at the McDonalds on DuPont was packed. I had to park my car and WALK inside to get my daily McGriddle. Unbelievable. The McGriddle was good...drive thru situation bad.
I then had to drive almost 5 minutes to Glenbrook to do some shopping. 5 WHOLE MINUTES. They really need some more shopping in the Pine Valley area.
I then ventured all the way downtown. I have no idea why anyone wants to go down there. There is NO parking and the traffic is horrible. I really hate it down there.
I had class later in the day. Can you belive there was almost no parking at IPFW? I had to walk almost 5 minutes to class. 5 Whole Minutes!! I'm sure no one has to walk to class in West Lafayette and Bloomington. Totally ridicolous.
Anyways, sorry to rant on. I'll post more about the proposed baseball stadium downtown. Can you believe. There is no parking down there! The parking lot at the Coliseum isn't even big enough!!

I had to walk to work in the rain today! The city needs to install conveyor belts with coverings over them so that I can exert no effort while being coddled.
I'm not sure with all the advanced technology these days anyone has to walk anywhere. I agree with Scott. Robots should do the walking (what little there needs to be) for us.
What about a tunnel from Aboite to Pine Valley?
I graduated from IPFW last year. When I started in 2003 I always parked in the corner parking lot (2nd farthest from my classes) because I HATE to "troll" for parking spaces...
During 2005 there were a couple of times when that lot was full; so I switched to the farthest parking lot from my classes because I hate "trolling" for parking spaces...
I insist that IPFW installs a mass transit system and that they shuttle people in from the parking lots...
I also insist that they add a McDonalds... I think they should ask the owner of the Dupont McDonalds to open a franchise at IPFW for obvious reasons...
