My Home

WOW. Read the last Letter to the Editor. HERE

Foreign people are inconsiderate

On May 3 my family went to Memorial Coliseum to see the University of St. Francis commencement ceremony. We arrived early enough to obtain a good seat.

Right as the program started, a group of people came in with a toddler and sat behind us. The child started complaining as soon as the program started. The people just ignored the child and let him yell. One of the people started humming; one was doing a tap dance on the floor; the rest talked in a foreign language so loud that they overpowered the speakers; and no one could hear a thing.

After 15 minutes of this, I turned around and asked, “Will you please shut up!” I was screamed at in very plain English, “I don’t have to shut up – you shut up!” No wonder they are not welcome in our country.

Simply amazing.

I'm speechless. So glad I don't live in Fort Wayne anymore.

The person who wrote that letter is a bigot.

Anon 12:42, could you please tell us the name of a city that is free of bigots?

I gotta agree with Anon 12:42 - I, too, am relieved not to be living in Fort Wayne anymore.

I can name lots of cities. Cities that would never print a letter like that in a newspaper.

Oh how Fort Wayne has fallen.

Name the cities that exercise editorial control over the content of their papers.
