That's Strip Mall of The Year to you non-acronymical savvy people.
Bonus points for the changes in facade to create the look of different buildings. The real zinger is how the architect wanted to actually create everything on a greater scale, but it was the one thing zoning shot down - they would not allow a variance for the city restrictions on height. It goes along with our motto- "build out, not up." It also goes for our waist lines.

MY O MY WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY-GIGGLES
LOOKS LIKE NEW YORK AT NIGHT
SING IT BLUE EYES
CLIMB TO THE TOP
DECORATE THE TOWER WITH "ROACH FOR MAYOR"
STAY AT THE BEAUTIFUL ANTHONY WAYNE HOTEL
ORDER SOME FOOD ON HIS TAB-GIGGLES
LEAVE THE HOTEL AND DRIVE BACK
NEW YORK NEW YORK
-ROACH
Unlike CFW, I've actually driven by this.
Wow, CFW finally posted something different.
This is real tacky. Of course, what the picture DOESN'T show is how this is completely incompatible with the surrounding areas.
I'm waiting for the facade to fall forward like a fake wood cut-out.
By "surrounding areas" you mean the run-down buildings, weeds, electrical wires, and streets without curbs? Yes, most buildings with fresh paint look out of place on Lima Road between Wallen and Dupont.
Anon 11:56 wants to have clones of these things all over Fort Wayne.
I agree. Lima road isn't exactly a nice place.
Cheers
