Mr. Kelty didn't know who was involved with the poll?
Mr. Kelty said:
"Well, I will tell you this -- and I don't even know who all is involved in the group that did this, but the few guys that I do know they don't have any direct involvement in campaigns. They were excited about -- and they're concerned about Harrison Square, so they were excited about that aspect in particular, and I think because of my well-publicized concerns regarding Harrison Square, building another baseball stadium by the public's dollar, they thought of me immediately and called me up and said, "Would you like to know the results of a poll that we commissioned?" and I said, "You know what? I'd love to. Can I use it? Please?" They said, "Yes, just don't tell anybody where it came from." So I said, "Alright, fine."

Seems like Rost is covering for the "concerned business people"
That is so old it's not even news..
He knew it was Rost the whole time?
His quote makes no sense
Here's another breaking news story.
The Titanic has struck an iceberg and sunk. Lots of casualties.
Hey, if you get any reports on the Lindbergh baby, let us know.
Titanic.. that's a great analogy to the blogging that takes place here. CFW's sinking!
The Kelty supporters have their heads buried so far into the sand they don't care at this point that he has deceived, lied, and misled the public on many occasions, but hey I guess thats what happens when you drink the Kool Aid.
Sort of like the Calvary Temple patrons that continued to support the pastor after he embezzled money from the church.
Sheesh, when will people learn.
parse these words carefully. What isnt said, or inbetween the lines is as dangerous as what IS said; if you know what IS- IS...
"but the few guys that I do know they don't have any direct involvement in campaigns."- Is this before or after Fred rost contributed 5000 to the Kelty campaign.
can you say "unindicted co-conspirator"? havent heard that one since the Nixon era?
giggle!!
When he finally came clean, Rost was quoted in the paper as saying "he had released Kelty from his promise of confidentiality." To me, that shows Kelty knew that Rost was involved. After all, if a magical stork just drops a package at your office door (as Kelty described the situation initially), then you don't need to make anyone promise to keep things confidential.
Good point.
Wow. Someone should make a movie about this. Very shady
