Unlike the america hating hippies in this city, i work hard for my money. recently ive been thinking about donating some of my hard earned wage to mr. Kelty for his mayor run. i think Matt is great. he won't pull any fast ones on the city, or really do anything, which is what i like. Fort wayne is good enough how it is and doesnt need to change and matt will see to it that we keep things the way they are.
theres been a lot of hullabaloo about matt and his campaign finances and im thinkin to myself, that guys piled on some debt - what, between his loans and his fancy attorney. the question i have is, if i donate my money to Matt, is my money going to pay off his loans, or pay off the by-the-hour Jim bopper smackdown at the election board meeting, or his upcoming legal battle with the liberals from indy - or actually going to the campaign for mayor?
i dont want to be like these Fort wayne college graduates saying I paid for What!?
should i just write a check to fred rost or the jehls directly and save the paperwork? maybe i can just donate my money to Jim bopper so he can print out more copies of his resume and credentials

Save your money for the day when you have credentials worthy of a reume, so that you cam make a copy or two.
Hey, you forgot a couple of capitals in "I Paid For What?!"
:D
I say save the money for video games and beer. You can always count on those.
News Break......
Matt Kelty for Mayor's Secretary Resigns in the Midst of Scandal
So as the day ends I am reminded oddly enough of the movie Jerry Maguire. You know the big hit with Tom Cruise famous for the line "SHOW ME THE MONEY!!" As of today I quit/resigned from my job. I won't get into the who's, what's, why's of things to maintain calmness throughout the city, however I do feel like Jerry Maguire felt at the beginning of the movie when he was fired. (only for the record, I was not fired) Jerry was confident as he left the office that day. He held his head high even though he had no idea of what was to lie in front of him. Today I walked out of the office holding my head high, minus taking a goldfish with me as Jerry did. I have absolutley no idea of what tomorrow or even the next day holds. I have no other job, and yet I feel calm and almost serene about this whole situation. The phrase "leap of faith" keeps running through my head. Was this a leap of faith or just plain stupid? I have no idea. I feel in my heart that I have made the right decision. Throughout this whole week I have been thinking of the Bible verse found in Proverbs which says,
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
This new chapter of my life will definitley be a test of my faith, strength, and courage. I must fight hard for a new job and not doubt that one will come through. For those of you who know me, oddly enough, this has happened before, only in a much messier form. Please, if you are reading this, say a quick little prayer for me that a job might pop up. Also if you know of anyone who is hiring (preferably in the Fort Wayne area) let me know. Oh and one last thing. To all of you who have constantly been a source of encouragement to me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I don't know where I would be without you all.
Keep Smiling All!

Bethany: burger king is hiring; so's Mcdonalds, walmart, and if you're hot- deja vu too!
Bethany...I'm sorry to hear that.
Why did you resign?
If you want to change Fort Wayne and be taken seriously I'd suggest the following:
1) Learn how to capitalize.
2) Learn how to use spell check.
3) move on back home we can use some more edumacated people to tell usm's how we should vote
missed capitalizations were done on purpose.
If you write down all the missing capitals, then rearrange them - you get the recipe for my mother's famous chili con queso
whats with the grammer nazi's? first they take away our God given right to smoke and now people are telling me how to type up my posts? this city is becoming a bunch of commies
Wha? Did Kelty's secretary just post her resignation letter in the comments of CFW, over items which would disrupt "calmness throughout the city"? Someone please tell me that is real. CFW, you have an exclusive! Show FWOb who's the real Boss Blogg for breaking stories around these parts.
Even better...it's on her MySpace site here:

I bet this becomes a "private" page within hours...but that's why they invented the print screen button.
Wow. The Kelty Camp is in disarray.
Tom Henry must be sitting back and laughing...laughing hard.
Let's watch the personal attacks.
AWB may allow it on his site...but we try to control it here.
Not a grammar Nazi. Just sayin' if your reppin' the college kids that won't return to the Fort because they can take their high paying tech jobs anywhere you would do them a service by showing they would be better served if they can first prove they passed basic English. Of course, they probably attended FWCS and are disadvantaged.
Tom Henry may be sitting back and laughing but we will never know as we don't where he stands on anything. Maybe he's saving money and will hire a high school kid next to direct his campaign and he'll turn up as missing on a carton of milk. I also heard John Walsh will feature him on local cable access on "Fort Wayne's Most Wanted".
Let's get past the Kelty money crap and get these two candidates to focus on the issues and tell us where they stand.
Forgot to add--I love chili con queso. I took all the caps, rearranged them and made the recipe. Came out as goulash. I hate goulash. And stew.
i aint no college kid. not all the contributors to this blog are the same. that was covered in one of the first posts ever here
Xeno - Instead of giving a cash donation to the kelty campaign, you might want to consider a fruit basket, or perhaps even a nice bundt cake.
I wonder if all the Kelty contributions will be loans from individuals?
He could pay everyone back with the Mayor's salary.
dont blame me, I voted for Roach- about 20 times.
write me in?
join the "Bullwinkle party"
Henry- Kelty- We're all doomed.
Jimmy Joe Jim Bob:
It is infeasible that Kelty could pay back a $160M loan. If the mayor makes $120M per year, and he owes $160M, thus far to his campaign, plus his own mortgage, 4 kids prepin' for college, debt he likely holds for his architectural firm, credit cards, etc. :) Was it ever stated anywhere if Kelty has even made the very first PAYMENT to this loan??? Sheesh, $26M a month is a boat-load!!!
Yeah, I know personal attacks on this site is a no-no, but damn, Roach, you're weird! Ahhh, I feel MUCH better..............
anon - not 160M - 160k, and so on and so forth.
I agree, I didn't really understand the feasibility of the payback on the bulk of the loan. 25k a month does seem excessive for anyone.
Not if you're RICHIE RICH.
RICHIE RICH AND ROACH FOR MAYOR-2007
Roach for mayor! Roach for mayor!
Bullwinkle party will run Allen County!
Roach for Mayor!
obviously, the $25K a month payments contemplated that it would be paid back from campaign contributions otherwise there would be no way Kelty could make such payments. If he could make 25K a month personal payments he would not have needed to borrow every nickel for his campaign to begin with.
He told several Republicans that he lives "frugally"
Of course, that was a lie.

oops! I gotta get me a new hat!
as jim morrison said "people are strange...."
Hey, the Kelty secretary whose confessional myspace blog post was noted here is Bethany Larimore. You could most probably contact her through her myspace page. CFW, I'm still waiting for that exclusive interview.
