Thank God this continuous tormenting drone is over. Congrats to Tom Henry. He will make a great Mayor. Congrats to Karen Goldner--job well done. Congrats to Marty Bender: pretty slick of you. Congrats to John Shoaff: incredible playing of the middle. Congrats to Cathy Hawks: Oh wait, Cathy didn't win anything, so I take that back. Matt Kelty: light a torch under your defense attorney's butts to get some results and take care of your family (give them some attention) and get off of the coffee. Harrison square can go forward (oh wait, Harrison square was going forward anyways---we just spent the last 9 months arguing about it!)
You're right, Harrison Square is going forward and it's unbelievable that so much time was wasted talking about it from the candidates. They had no say so in the matter but Kelty sure played that issue smart. In the primary and the general. The guy did some really dumb things while campaigning, but he sure was slick where it counted.
Anyone else hear that city-wide collective sigh of relief last night when Henry was officially declared the winner? If nothing else, I can drive across town without having to drive through another crowd of crazies.
I kind of wish he would've won so we could've seen the victory "holocaust" cake from the Hoots.
Did anyone else seen that Woot trying to look inconspicuous infront of the camera? He should have just jumped up and down and waved like you could tell he wanted to.
I agree with Truth.. to any Kelty Koolaid Kids (especially the ones involved in the incident at Spy Run and State St.), I will gladly assist you in leaving Fort Wayne. I will assist you free of charge.
