This is just what we need -- an anonymous bunch of pseudo-intellectuals spouting off.

Well, thanks. At least we're counted as kind of smart.

Don't flatter yourself. Pseudo doesn't mean kind of, it means fake.

I want everyone not to smoke, anywhere: smoking kills the people we love. It's worth the vitriol to ban smoking, to save those who matter most to us.

Anonymous,

You don't have to come to the blog, and you certainly don't have to read it.

I cannot wait for my first smoke free drink in Fort Wayne. I will think of you, anonymous.

Thanks.

Well, with many of the taverns building beer gardens and patios, I'm sure the smokers' will delight in telling the non-smokers to get the hell out of "their" space.

Cathy, go away.

Who is "we?"

By "we" do you mean the city of Fort Wayne?

I don't know who these people are, but I tend to think Fort Wayne would be better served with more people who wanted to "change Fort Wayne."

Smokin' Joe,

That's great.

Glad to hear that the taverns in Fort Wayne are doing what's been done all over the country, letting people smoke outside.

This may appear to a lot of you as a real "victory", and for the time being, I guess it is.

Keep in mind though, this is only about the halfway point for the government telling you what you can and cannot do. There's a lot more coming.

You know whats worse than annonymous pseudo intellectuals spouting off. pathetic anonymous posters spending time reading what they consider to be pseudo intellectuals spouting off.

Anonymous said...

Pseudo intellectuals.

Boy that shoe fits this Blog.

It's only a matter of time before we see the lawsuits touting nonsmokers entitlement to enjoy eating outside in the beer gardens as well. Look for the 20' rule to be expanded from "doors/windows" to "any other person(s)".

I'm a non-smoker myself, but can see the slippery slope we're on.

"First they came for the Smokers
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Smoker..."

Have you guys seen the letters to the editor in today's News-Sentinel?

Anonymous said...

This is not '1984', this is common sense, but people are too dense to realize that smoking will kill you and others around you.

Thanks for your comments cathy.

Fort Wayne is stuck in 1984

You should all go watch the "Butt-Out" episode of South Park: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butt_Out

The letters to the editor in today's News Sentinel make me embarrassed to be from Fort Wayne.

Maybe Dean should put his dunce cap on, since he obviously doesnt understand that this is not a matter of his lay opinion, but is instead a matter of the law.

Indeed, if Kelty's campaign got a loan from a BANK for use in the campaign, the BANK loan IS INDEED disclosable.

You Kool Aid drinkers have lost your mind.

As for Mr. Stieber, you need to come up for air from your swimming. You may be a little oxygen deprived.

Eating too much also kills people as does drinking alcohol.

I've thrown out this challenge before and no one can answer it. Why the exception for tobacco retail outlets?

Anonymous said...

I wonder what AWB advised Kelty to do?

Have you seen the stuff on his blog?

Pictures of Dr. Crawford and Hitler.

Non-stop cursing and personal attacks on people.

Calling people racists.

Not very Christain.

Anonymous said...

Call Kelty's campaign at 260-422-2007 and ask him if he agrees with what Angry White Boy posts on his blog

Anonymous said...

I saw the pictures of Dr. Crawford and Hitler and thought is was quite a good comparison. Crawford is ripping off business owners of constitutional rights.

Non-stop cursing? I don't see it besides the occasional "fsck"

Personal attacks on people? Don't you mean reporting the facts no matter how hard it hurts?

Calling people racists? Well if you're referring to Credo, shit man she is!

Wow, angry white boy turned into a poor white woman. That must have hurt? Anywho, Dan posts some of th most outrageous things, yet he gets all bent outta shape when others post in a comparative manner. Well listen brother, if you can't take the heat, get outta the kitchen. Or, should I say "sista"?

To anon 4:58: No one has challenged you yet? Sheesh! Eating too much and drinking too much hurt ONLY you. Smoking hurts others AROUND you. If you want to eat yourself into a coma, have at it. But keep your cancer causing second-hand smoke to yourself. Understand now?

Thanks, Party Time

Myself and mt wife will be calling the campaign staff tomorrow.

I have been disgusted with that blog for a long time now.

I really hope Kelty hasn't seen that blog, I'm sure he would be disgusted by some of the posts also.

When the Zogby poll first came out, I called the Kelty campaign to see if I could get any more information than what was released at the time.

The telephone operator told me to "go to Angry White Boy's site" if I wanted to read about the poll.

Hard to believe there's no connection.

I called Kelty and spoke with him personally about his huge sign on Main Street. I told him about Dan's site and at first he denied knowing AWB, and then I said he was seen wearing a Kelty jacket and had posted on his blog that he was helping with the campaign. All the sudden he remembered that he DID know him and that he'd met him a couple of times. This guy only seems to remember stuff when he's called out on it. Yep, that' integrity for you..........

I wonder what he thinks about all of AWB's Hitler Comments...
