My Freedom to Request Information

I submitted a second Freedom of Information Act request to the city today.

I want more details on the new Chipotle.

I submitted 83 questions (6 pages.) Here are some of the better ones:

Was the city influenced by burrito bribes?

Are the burritos really gourmet?

Was Qdoba considered for the space?

What is the burrito to parking space ratio?

How many burritos do I need to eat to gain 5.3 pounds?

Can I order my burrito without rice?

What is the economic fat impact on the city?

What is the average circumference of a burrito with chicken?

I will be following up with the city next week.

If this is the type of information that the City keeps in the regular course of business, you're entitled to it.

This is nothing but Burrito rearrangement

Not Sylvester.

The City of Fort Wayne needs to immediately come clean on the proposed Chipotle Mexican Grill.

How come Long John Silvers has to go ? The whole pirate concept has recently made a comeback, so it makes economic sense to give Long John a little more needed time.

I fear the leaders of our city are making a grave mistake with this. I believe the proposed restaurant will be located in Councilman Didier's district. I hope Councilman Didier's rumored love for Mexican food did not influence the decision as to why Long John had to go.

Didier took a bribe of 100 burritos.

Didier took a loan of 100 burritos. He is going to give them back after his campaign with salsa as interest.

Did his campaign manager loan the burritos?

If they don't get back to you in a day or so, re-send your questions every hour until someone answers.

It's just another example of something Fort Wayne residents don't need and don't want.

What did Mayor Richard know and when did he know it?

How can it be wise to build this when there are three Taco Bells within 4 miles?

This is definitely "burrito rearrangement."

How does Carlos O'Kelly's feel about this? Certainly Carlos would have an opinion on this.

This has burrito rearrangement written all over it

I want to know why no one is addressing Juan's very important question? Why are they stalling? Whose pockets are being lined here?

Cui bono?

Worry not folks - I hear-tell Councilman Schmidt may have jumped in the ring on this one.

I suspect Schmidt may try to counter Didier by trying to lure Chipolte away from the proposed Long John Silvers location.

This is not a done deal yet. If Schmidt succeeds in stopping this boondoggle from happening, the people of the Fort may very well be able to enjoy eating Long John's hush puppies for many years to come.

Schmidt is a big supporter of fast food development, but he has a lot of questions about burritos.
