My Upset?

Upset? When the experienced, elected official, unanimously endorsed by every elected Republican official and both newspapers, and financed to the hilt by establisnent attorneys, developers, builders and consultants, ekes out a victory over an underfinanced local architect, you call that an upset?

The revolution is starting. Change is in the air.

I think the original post refers to the Dewey beats Truman headline. Dewey did not win. So the newspaper saying Peters beats Kelty actually implies Kelty won

Good point. My mistake.

Ever heard of "Dewey defeats Truman" ?

Nice photoshopping, kids.

I agree with Anon #1. If Kelty comes within 10 points, that is the upset.

If Kelty loses again, he should run for Governor. I have never seen anybody get as much mileage out of a LOSS than Kelty has since 2002.

If Kelty wins on Tuesday (which I believe he probably will), Tom Henry will become known as Landslide Tom come next November.

Kelty would be a perfect Lt. Gov. under Eric Miller.

They'd probably change the Statehouse to a church

so how many times do you have to run, and lose, before the local tabloid media, and "hanoi Julie" inskreep's "Slander Rag" tag one as a "perennial gadfly"? or worse? just wondering.

Sign the yellow and blue "Roach for Mayor" petitions!!
