My Predictions

With today's primary elections happening today the nickel soothsayers and political bookies are making their bets on who's going to win the right to win the right to fight in the title bout.

I'm not going to give you percentages, because I don't want to waste my time and add up to 100% and percentages only count in milk and school grades.

And the winners are...

Mayor
R - Peters
D - Henry (anyone want to put 10 bucks on this one?)

City Council, at-large
R- Crawford, Mildred, and the underdog, the long shot, the 70:1 bet, the midnight special: Kurt Gutman (he gets the gold star for designing his billboard after HBO's Entourage).
D- I'll be honest, these are shots in the dark - Shoaff, Brown, Essex

The rest are pretty much a 1-1 competition, so there isnt much guessing.

SYLVESTER!!!! - I wrote your name under Republican Clerk. I put a couple more exclamation points after the name, so it may not count, or it may count as extra votes. Look on the bright side, maybe they'll give you a badge.

I voted for Liz Brown in the Republican primary.

I think your Dem at-large calls should be for Shoaff, Essex and Porter-Ross

I wrote in John B. Kalb for at-large. There is a huge movement out their for Kalb and SYLVESTER!!!. Dont be surprised to see one of them get through the primary.

Looks like some of your cohorts that contribute to the blog had Kelty pegged correctly.

I picked Kelty last week. Not happy about his victory, but he ran a great campaign.

Do they even bother to count the write-ins in a primary?

In Indiana, you have to file a form to become a declared write-in candidate in the general election. Without that form, they don't count the write-in votes for that candidate.
