My view: Concrete is better

If Gary had a major league affiliated team, I bet they would consider upgrading to a concrete slab.

How soon are you moving to Gary? They spent $50 million on their hip, trendy, night-life-enhancing stadium. You'll love it there.

There's that Fort Wayne attitude I love!

I will never move there. I just think it's funny that Gary, Indiana of all places has a nice looking ball park. There is just a tad more potential that exists in Fort Wayne for an improved downtown than in Gary. But I guess you disagree with that.

Thanks for posting, Buddy.

So Gary had the right idea but in the wrong place? Google that Gary stadium. It was Fort Wayne guys that sold them on it.

Anyone that thinks Fort Wayne needs to be progressive or change anything at all should just move! Take your college degree and get outta town!

I do not know any specifics of the Gary stadium or their situation with downtown development. I just know that the ball park looks pretty damn good for something that isn't even affiliated with a MLB team.

It's my opinion that Fort Wayne has a lot more to work with than Gary on many levels. Which is to say, Fort Wayne IS good as it is, I just happen to think it can get better. Downtown improvement should be at the core of that movement.

Funny tid bit of information - Gary actually has a greater property appreciation than Fort Wayne.

wow, that is amazing. Once again, if you even want to consider Kelty's poll, you are suggesting 1/3 of the people should just get out of town.
