The good times just keep rolling. CHECK IT OUT
Anyone listening to these guys? NOPE, and you know why? It is because they insist on using terrible comparisons that are borderline crazy. If I were trying to get people to listen to my opinion, I'd stray away from comparing a smoking ban to a leader who's rule led to millions of deaths. I'd probably stick to the push for small government, infringement of rights, and more restrictions on what you can do and where.
I personally am completely for the smoking ban, but I can see how the ban would upset some. The opposition is muted because of these lunatics are making terrible comparisons.

Check out Richard Sloan's call-in show on Public Access. The guy reminds me of someone you would see at a Trekie or Dungeons & Dragons Convention.
Well you know, Hitler was a vegetarian.

Separated at birth????
As for the whole smoking issue...I'm a smoker...BUT, I refrain from smoking when I stop at a restaurant...no big deal.
And if people stop over the house I tell them it's a "smoking" house (as opposed to a BURNING house which is typically found on the south side of town).
If they're bothered by it, I can go in another room or outside for a few ciggies. Again, no big deal.
It's a mutual respect gig for me.
What DOES bother me is the government's "need" to DICTATE to me (and others) what we CAN and CANNOT do in this regard.
Smoking is a lot less harmful to everyone than say ETHANOL emissions (new study out)...
;)
